Bradley Cooper nails Neil Young’s ‘Down by the River’ on air guitar on ‘The Tonight Show’

American Sniper" star Bradley Cooper is one sharp-shooting air guitarist.
Cooper appeared on "The Tonight Show" Monday — his 40th birthday — for Jimmy Fallon's first show of 2015 and gave a searing performance of Neil Young's "Down by the River," sans actual ax.
Fallon and Cooper wore curly-haired wigs during the segment, in a callback to Cooper's previous appearance on the show in October.
On that show, the pair spent the entire interview giggling uncontrollably while wearing matching NFL-themed visor wigs.
Cooper, who is appearing on Broadway in "The Elephant Man," set up the goofy performance by telling the host he memorized the solo of the 1969 Young track pretend note-for-pretend note as a kid.
