Makerere University students today decided to strike harder even
after the varsity administration decided to extend the deadline for
paying 100% tuition from the 6th to the 8th week.
The 6th week ends tomorrow and the deadline will just be two weeks away. However, students are not satisfied with the extension of the deadline. They want the policy to be completely scrapped off. The strike that entered its third day, characterized with more destruction than that previous two days. One student is in critical condition after he fell of a police patrol truck as he was resisting arrest.
