Legal proceedings initiated due to a copyright disagreement involving a song by Diamond Platnumz.

Diamond Platnumz, a Tanzanian artist, has become embroiled in a legal clash following the removal of his collaborative song 'Enjoy' with Juma Jux from YouTube due to alleged copyright infractions. The removal of the track from YouTube left fans perplexed. This situation arises in the midst of claims that Diamond Platnumz had been adopting musical elements from Nigerian musicians, stemming from his collaboration with Juma Jux.
Sapologuano Odenumz, an artist from Congo, asserted that the tune in Diamond and Jux's song closely mirrored his creation, "I Found Love." Odenumz contended that his melodies had been integrated into their song without proper authorization. He disclosed that he had lodged a copyright complaint against the song, stating, "Yes, I issued a copyright strike against the song because its melody is from my composition 'I Found Love,' and it was present in their song 'Enjoy.'" This conflict escalated into a legal confrontation, as reports indicate that Diamond Platnumz and Juma Jux are taking legal steps against Odenumz through their music distribution company. Speaking from Congo, Odenumz expressed astonishment at the resemblances and attempted to address the matter with Juma Jux, but alleged to have received no response. Odenumz's dissatisfaction prompted him to file a report with YouTube, leading to the elimination of the audio track. He shared that YouTube approached him for discussions to find a resolution. In his pursuit of equitable reparation for his creative work, Odenumz underscored the significance of acknowledging the endeavors of fellow artists and creators, particularly within the younger generation.
