President Museveni has given his approval to and enacted nine bills, turning them into law.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has provided his consent to a total of nine (9) bills, officially bestowing upon them the status of law. Among the bills that have received the President's approval are: 1. The National Sports Act, 2023 2. The Stamp Duty (Amendment) Act, 2023 3. The Foreign Exchange (Amendment) Act, 2023 4. The Value Added Tax (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2023 5. The Excise Duty (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2023 6. The Financial Institutions (Amendment) Act, 2023 7. The Income Tax (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2023 8. The Income Tax (Amendment) Act, 2023 9. The Tax Procedures Code (Amendment) Act, 2023
