Media personality Douglas Lwanga has offered some critical observations regarding female musicians in Uganda.
Lwanga, drawing from his substantial experience in the music and media realms, contends that female musicians seem to be displaying a degree of leniency and allocating more of their focus to photography.
He holds the viewpoint that their primary emphasis should be on crafting music for their audience, and that their presence on social media platforms should complement their musical endeavors.
"In my perspective, it appears that some of them are placing more significance on capturing photographs rather than on music, and that's the concern I'd like to address. It's imperative for us to also have exceptional music," he articulated during a conversation on the NBS After 5 show earlier this week.
Douglas Lwanga's commentary emerged during a discussion on the factors that contribute to a musician's ongoing success while consistently releasing new music.
