Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) took a comedic tone New Year's Day when
tweeting his resolutions for 2016, often poking fun at his Republican
presidential rivals.
"I resolve to not let the mean things people say about my hair bother me," Paul tweeted with photos comparing his curls to ramen noodles, a poodle and '90s-era Justin Timberlake.
In a series of tweets, Paul also fired shots at GOP rivals Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.).
He called out Cruz for "replicating" his policy positions and urged him to declare that "Canadian 'bacon' is not real bacon."
Paul also joked that he would spend "less time voting in the Senate so @MarcoRubio & @tedcruz don't look bad" because "they don't show up for work."
"[Just kidding.] Do your jobs," Paul adde
