Galaxy S7 Officially launched in Uganda: Check out Pricing and Availability

Tech junkies have been given another addition to love and envy about today after Samsung Uganda finally unveiled the latest addition to their family of gadgets the Samsung S7 edge and the Samsung a Galaxy s7 in the capital Kampala. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that was launched globally about a few weeks back in Barcelona and comes in with much revamped features aside from the last Samsung S6. The S7 comes in both the revolutionary edge version and the sleek contemporary Design.
Speaking today at the launch at Acacia Mall Kololo, the country Manager Samsung Electronics East Africa said the launch of the smartphone was a giant step to revamping the taste of Ugandans at using technology.
‘We are very excited to launch this phone on the Ugandan market because it’s truly an exceptional device in terms of its design, functionality and leading features. “ As we have seen before, the phones come with a Exynos processor which is the fastest ever built for any smartphone, fully charged it has 30% more battery life than the earlier version and it can be charged wirelessly. In addition the hybrid SIM card tray allows users to insert a micro SD for up to 200GB of additional storage and in some select countries; the tray can be used as a dual SIM card port”. Talking about one of the highly anticipated accessories the Samsung S7 phone comes with, the Samsung Virtually Reality gear which allows users to connect their phones onto a handset and get a 360 view of the world around them, play games or watch movies. Amos explained “this is a revolutionary device that has taken to world of communications and entertainment by storm it works with all the high-end Galaxy phones starting from the Note 4 and beyond”.

Informing the public where they can purchase the Galaxy s7 Amos noted that the phone is available for sale from their promotional exhibition at Acacia Mall where they are giving the public an opportunity to try out the device, alternatively S7’s can be brought from MTN premium sales outlets in Kampala or on the MTN website at a specially discounted price. He said told this blog that they can’t state the price directly because different providers may have their own prices but it must be around UGX 2.8 million. You will be able to get the S7 at most retails store and also expect carriers like MTN and Airtel to announce theirs too.
