North St. Louis (KSDK) - An out of control vehicle crashed through the front of a popular shoe store in north St. Louis overnight.
Police were initially responding to a call for shots fired in the area of Page and Dr. Martin Luther King Driver around 1:45 a.m. Friday.
When officers arrived in the area, they located a car which went out of control on Dr. King, drove over a sidewalk and into the front of the Kids Footlocker location in the 3600 block of Page.
Rescue workers were dispatched to assist the driver of the vehicle and to remove the car from the sales floor of the business.
Investigators are continuing to investigate whether the original call for shots being fire had any impact on the motorist crashing into the building.
