J.K. Rowling’s Annotated Harry Potter Reveals How Quidditch Became a Thing

A first-edition copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone that was annotated by J.K. Rowling in 2013 is finally going on display. Featuring 43 personal additions — both notes and sketches — from the author, it will be on exhibit at the Edinburgh’s Writers’ Museum beginning Thursday, according to the Edinburgh Evening News.
“This unique first edition features a remarkable glimpse into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” said Richard Lewis, Culture Convener at the City of Edinburgh Council. “In it, J.K. Rowling opens her heart about her characters and creations and makes beautiful illustrations of magical scenes from the series.”
