The disqualification of transgender beauty queen Jenna Talackova from
Miss Universe Canada competition did not yield fruit ,authorities
called her back to the contest to compete with other pure and original
ladies.This was as a result of intense pressure from different groups of
people especially on the internet.
Jenna Talackova underwent gender-reassignment surgery at age 19.She holds legal documents affirming her identity as a woman.Jenna Talackova has never hidden her status of changing from a male to female. She took part in the 2010 Miss International Queen competition in Thailand.
Jenna Talackova before surgery by the age of four was called Walter Page Talackova .At that age he knew that she was a female.She kept on the desire to undergo surgery since his mother also wanted to have a girl.
She had been kicked out of the Miss Universe Canada competition on Friday after being selected as one of 65 finalists. The winner of that contest, who will be announced on May 19 in Toronto, will go on to represent Canada in the global Miss Universe pageant later in the year.
Executive vice president and special counsel to Donald Trump, wrote in an email to ABC: ‘The Miss Universe Organization will allow Jenna Talackova who underwent surgery to become a woman to compete in the 2012 Miss Universe Canada pageant provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions.
Jenna Talackova had vowed to seek legal action against Miss Universe organizers for throwing her out of the 2012 contest .ABC news site said
