Sony Music Signs Nigeria’s D’banj

If there is any Nigerian or African artiste who has had a very successful year by every standard, that person is no other than Dapo ‘Dbanj’ Oyebanjo.
Not only has he received four nominations for the prestigious world music awards in four different categories, the “Fall in Love” artist has just notched another exclusive Pan-African deal with Sony Music Africa.
His younger brother, K-Switch D’Produkt also got signed to the deal as well under his fledgling DB records.
The music label announced this through social network Twitter saying “Superstar & Africa’s #1 Artist @iamdbanj, and @kayswitch sign Exclusive Pan-African Deal with @SonyMusicAfrica”
Although sony music Africa did not give details about the deal, one thing is certain, D’banj just like other African artists who include talented Ugandan female rapper Keko and A 12-year-old Nigerian pop singer Kamsi Ekpeyong popularly known Kamsee.
