What is the HubPages Earnings Program?
The
HubPages Earnings Program groups together a number of
revenue-generating opportunities for you to earn from on the traffic to
your Hubs, and provides one gateway for us to make payments to you.
The HubPages Earnings Program, along with the ad and affilate Programs underneath it (currently the Ad, eBay, and Amazon Programs) each have a set of requirements for participation. Activating the HubPages Earnings Program alone simply means that you have enabled the payment mechanism, but it does not automatically enroll you in the revenue-generating programs. We also use the HubPages Earnings Program to pay out for things like contest earnings. Once you have successfully enabled the HubPages Earnings Program, you can pick and choose which programs you want to earn from.
The HubPages Earnings Program requires you to provide your tax information and associate a PayPal account.
The Ad Program: The Ad Program provides an optimized mix of premium ads from multiple ad partners (including Google AdSense) to run alongside Google AdSense ads on your Hubs. HubPages has partnered with a number of premium ad sources, which we have access to as a very large publisher. Our size allows us to secure large website ad rates for you. When you opt in to the Ad Program, for your share of impressions on your Hubs, additional advertising from these premium ad sources will appear.
The eBay Program: The eBay Program allows you to earn from referrals via products listed in eBay Capsules that you may choose to place in your Hubs. You can apply to join the eBay Partner Network as a sub-affiliate of HubPages, within your HubPages Earnings Program account. You will be paid via the HubPages Earnings Program just like the Ad Program.
The Amazon Program: The Amazon Program is very similar to the eBay Program in that it enables you to list Amazon products (via the Amazon Capsule) in your Hubs and earn from purchases resulting from clicks on those items. In the future, Hubbers will be able to earn from Amazon through the HubPages Earnings Program.
Contests: If you win a cash prize in a HubPages contest, you will receive your payment through the HubPages Earnings Program. Contest winners do not need to have a Google AdSense Account associated with HubPages; they only need a PayPal account.

How Does the Ad Program Work?
In
the Google AdSense-only arrangement, each Hub may display three ad
units and two link units. If you opt in to the Ad Program, you will have
a total of six ads:
- One ad unit served through your AdSense account (AdSense pays you)
- Five additional ad units, some of which come from Google and some of which come from other premium ad partners (HubPages pays you)
How Does the eBay Program Work?
The
eBay Program allows you to earn money from referrals via eBay Capsules.
You can apply to join the eBay Partner Network within your HubPages Earnings Program account. To join, go to My Account > Earnings > Settings
and click on the "get started" button next to eBay Program. You will be
walked through the simple application process. In order to be accepted,
you must have completed the following three criteria:

How Do I Get Paid Through the HubPages Earnings Program?
We
provide you with a managed service which includes ad performance
reporting and a direct monthly payment via PayPal, once you’ve reached a
$50 payout threshold. In order to get paid, you need a PayPal account
and have submitted your tax information.

Where Can I See My Earnings?
To see your earnings for the HubPages Earnings Program go to My Account > Earnings > Earnings Reports.
The default allows you to see earnings for all of the programs in the
HubPages Earnings Program, but you can use the dropdown box to choose
the specific program you would like to see. Use the calendar dropdown
box to see specific dates and click "submit."
