UNEB on Tuesday morning released UCE results 2013 .Unfortunately
results of over 20,000 students have been withheld due to suspected
examination malpractice.Some of the schools whose results have been
withheld include;
-Kampala City School Wakiso District -Results of over 85 students were withheld
-Byeyogerere High School -Results of 87 students were withheld
-Madina Islamic school Kampala -Results of 57 students were withheld .
The UNEB executive secretary, Mathew Bukenya said that the number of withheld results have increased this year due to increased bribing of invigilators .
He added that UNEB organising a one on one discussion with the affected schools and a verdict will be delivered in one week.
The UNEB Secretary also announced that schools which have persistently been named in examination malpractice will have their UNEB centres cancelled.
Meanwhile the best performing students in the 2013 UCE Exams came from Kampala ,Wakiso and Bushenyi districts.
Gomba ,Buwuma,Kalangala and Bulambuli were some of the worst performing districts in the 2013 s.4 Examinations.
