Last week some Ugandan singers survived getting into the new year with missing teeth or fractured bones.

This happened at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala, which is known for hosting hundreds of to welcome a new year.
It all began when struggling singer, Nince Henry and his group stormed the stage 20 minutes to the new year and tried displacing Bebe Cool, who was supposed to be performing at this time.
However, their plans didn’t go their way as security including military police was quick enough to react, throwing them off the stage.
Bebe finally took to the stage as Nince Henry left vowing to revenge any time soon.
Oops has learnt that according to the day’s program, Nince Henry was supposed to perform at 9pm. He, however arrived at venue past 11:30pm.
But why particularly during Bebe Cool’s time of performing?
Well, many may say he wanted to be one to usher the revellers into the year but Oops has established that the duo’s war had nothing to do with that.
We have established that Nince’s fight with his former boss is because he feels he didn’t get enough credit from the songs that he wrote for the latter.
”Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex….It takes a
touch of genius-and a lots of courage-to move in the opposite direction,” he wrote on Facebook two days prior to their fight.
The message was believed by many fans to be directed to Bebe Cool, with who he has been with at loggerheads of late.
Nince has written successful songs for Bebe Cool among which include; Kamwa Ko , Minzani and Kabirinange.
