Snow is making roads slippery and leading some schools in the area to delay the start of classes.
In Lancaster County, Lancaster Country Day School and the Susquehanna Waldorf School in Marietta have announced they will open two hours late.
Penn Manor School District tweeted around 8 a.m. that some of its elementary school buses are running late.
Parents were urged to call their children’s schools for specific details.
Hempfield School District issued a similar tweet, claiming “many buses running late this morning.”
No schools here have planned to close for the day.
