BROOKSVILLE -- A man from Michigan died in
a single-car accident when his car veered off the road and struck a
tree Friday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Bruce H. Sander, 50, of Hazel Park, Michigan, was driving a Chevy
Impala on State Road 50 around 5 p.m. when he traveled into the shoulder
and hit a tree. He was taken to Oak Hill Regional Hospital, where he
died from his injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor, according to the FHP.
